6 – Clearing The Allotment
Its been a while since I last posted, as I write this the Christmas tree is up at home and we have had some pretty wild winter weather. That said work at the allotment hasnt stopped (just slowed), the short days means its pitch black early morning and evening so work can only be done during the day.
Ive yet again changed my mind on how I plan to layout the plot, im going to remove the terraces and simply have a path running up the centre with two very long beds on either side.

It took a lot of hard work, but using a strimmer and weed killer helped alot…
The potatoes didnt do too bad either, a little on the small size but then they where planted late but made some nice crisps out of them.
